This week was full of interesting events in the fashion world, from celebrating the 40th anniversary of both David Beckham and Giorgio Armani’s label to new advertising campaigns from Chanel and Puma. Let’s cover the biggest fashion news of the recent week in this article.


HUGE SALES EVERYWHERE


Yes, it is a mid-season sale! The majority of online stores offered 20%, 50% and even 80% sale on the stock available. Ok, the word available might be less suitable here, because the stores ran out of stock quickly after the sale announcements. Check out ASOS, Victoria's Secret, Farfetch, Shopbop, Topshop, Avenue32 and some other stores for possible continuing sales.

VICTORIA’S SECRET'S 10 NEW ANGELS


Victoria’s Secret has announced ten new names of models who joined the angels and got the wings in 2015. This beautiful and graceful ladies have already been spotted during the Victoria’s Secret shows and now they are officially Angels of the brand. 



Very beautiful and graceful, these young ladies represent different countries within the angels’ team: Stella Maxwell (UK), Elsa Hosk (Sweden), Kate Grigorieva (Russia), Taylor Hill (Colorado), Romee Strijd (Netherland), Martha Hunt (North Carolina), Jac Jagaciak (Poland), Lais Ribeiro (Brazil), Sara Sampaio (Portugal), Jasmine Tookes (California). Besides, Victoria’s Secret has announced the 2nd of May as the International Bombshell’s Day, which will be celebrated annually in the stores and through online shop’s sales. 




CHANEL PRE-FALL CAMPAIGN



Cara Delevigne and Pharrell Williams plus little Hudson Kroenig stared in the pre-fall campaign of Chanel. The campaign is an overview at the Chanel’s most recent Métiers d’Art collection, which is a reflection of Austrian nobility featuring Victorian blouses, thigh-high lace-up shoes and Chanel tweet jackets.





STYLE.COM WILL TRANSITION INTO A NEW E-COMMERCE WEBSITE THIS AUTUMN


Condé Nast’s revealed its plans to turn the fashion news site Style.com into a big e-commerce business in the UK. All the editorial content of the Style.com will be moved to VogueRunway.com, which will feature the runway shows and fashion designers’ collections, combined with the original content of Vogue. At the beginning, the new e-commerce will not hold an inventory; it will work through commissions and the shoppers will be able to choose from 100-200 brands.


RIHANNA’S FIRST AD FOR PUMA


As Puma’s creative director and the brand's global ambassador for women's fitness, Rihanna has revealed their first ad, where she features her athletic figure in a black and white photo. The ad shows everyone’s favourite “bad girl” look in cool sneakers.




GEORGIO ARMANI CELEBRATED THE LABEL’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY


Interestingly, Giorgio Armani was 40 when he first launched his brand’s business and now he’s celebrating the label’s 40th anniversary at the age of 80.



Many celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Tina Turner, Lauren Hutton, Sophie Loren attended the show in Armani’s Milan headquarter to celebrate the anniversary. All wearing Armani, they stood to applause the famous designer.
