All around the world men, women, children wear belts of any kind. Sometimes we can see a very beautiful belt that we can't stay indifferent and just pass by over it. But have you ever wondered when belts have originated? Belts were made for men from the Bronze Age. Since late 19th century and up until the first World War belts were part of a uniform among the officers but over the years this stereotype was broken and belts began to serve for other things. For example many of us wear belts over our shoulders to keep in place clothes or like a corset to support the abdomen. But belt is also an attribute for us to emphasize our waist.
And today brands like Tory Burch, Cesare Paciotti, Levis, D&G, Armani, Diesel, Billionaire, Galliano, Bottega Veneta, Hermes, Moschino, Burberry, Iceberg and others offer a large assortment of belts of any kind. Among them is the house of Dior whose collection of women belts I would like to present below.
