"Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world" states the quote by the style icon Marilyn Monroe. Indeed, Marilyn was right: shoes are the key staples to look effortlessly chic. When previously we used to choose a classic pairs of shoes (basically in black, beige or white) to match with our outfit, today is vice versa: the variety of shapes and colours of the footwear makes us match our clothing to this statement.
Designers don't stop surprising us with new creative approaches to the shoe designs. Not only the colour and texture are evolving, but some unbelievable shapes of heels are appearing in the market. This year, the trend of the fall-winter season is a cool sculpted chunky heel: this is sure a wear-with-everything style. At the same time, the labels such as Walter Steiger, Jimmy Choo and Miu Miu offer some other alternative heel forms and namely the comma heel and the spool heel. The designers add some more neon or bright colours to these amazing forms and new footwear appear that make the mouth drop wide open.
Here I collected 20 creative pairs of shoes from popular designer labels representing the current trends. Enjoy it!
