SUMMER STYLING TIPS FROM FASHION BLOGGERS

By Visitor Maria
Fashion bloggers fully enjoy the summer by travelling to sunniest and most vocational places in the world. Of course they do not forget showing off their outfits during this busy relaxing period. Should you want to purchase the exact items your favorite bloggers wear, go and check out the blogs!

However, I suggest you to join me in a trip when I'll be breaking down the style of bloggers' outfits and advise you how to create bloggers-inspired looks with your own input of personality. It is easy to buy exactly what the bloggers wear and you are ready to go as a stylish and fashionable summer gal, but it is more amusing to create your own looks with a touch of yourself. So, let's do it together: I've picked three blogger outfits that reflect the season's hottest trends. We'll use these looks as a basis to build up our own fashion-forward summer wardrobe.

1. COLORS, COLORS AND MORE COLORS

Summer is a season of vibrant colors: just look around, how many contrasting and bright shades surround you. This color vibration should also play in your outfits - the brighter, the better. It's a wide playing field and you should be very mindful about that in order to be tastefully bold. The Brazilian blogger Martha from Around In Style is a perfect example on how to mix summer shades to create a playful look for the hot weather.

Here is what we should learn from Martha's look:

N1. Marta perfectly matched the colors of the top and bottom: they are analogue colors from the color wheel - amber (or maybe more orangish) and vermillion. When mixing colors, pick up the neighbor shades from the below color wheel - it will work undoubtedly.

N2. Pair a high-waisted skirt with a crop top. This works with all types of skirts from A-line minis to pencil skirts and romantic maxis.

N3.  Pick up a perfect off-shoulder top: it is a must-have for summer that will work perfectly both with skirts and shorts/pants.

N4. There is no better staple this summer than gladiator sandals

N5. Spice out your outfit with long necklaces and chains

So, following the lessons, let's create some summer outfit sets. These are examples how neighbor colors can be matched:

2. CONTRASTING STYLES: ROCK + FEMININE

Combining contrasts is the most challenging area of cloths styling, though the most entertaining and resultfull if combined professionally. Contrasting can be done through matching complementary colors, styles or fabrics. Rachel-Marie from Jag Lever presents an example how beautifully match up two contrasting styles.

Tips to follow:

N1. Match up pieces of different fabrics/materials: pair a lightweight dress with a leather vest or jacket.

N2. Match up clothing from different seasons: a summer dress with boots more suitable for rainy weather.

N3. Accessorize your look with a creative jewelry, try out some exclusive hand-mades.

N4. Spice out any of your summer outfits with a wide brim hat.

These chiffon dresses will go perfectly as a basis to create the above inspired look. Add on some vests of darker colors, boots and you are ready to go.

3. WHITE DRESS

White is a basic color that goes perfectly with any other color. But to look effortlessly chic this summer, you don't need to think about matching up white. Just use it in its pure shade to look effortlessly chic in the beach, in the cocktail bar or wherever your summer holidays will make you appear.

This is what we should try this summer:

N1. Pick up a flawless white dress, mini, midi or maxi - any length will work.

N2. Choose a design with an open back to make your look romantic and sophisticated.

N3. Lace see-through fabric is the best for summer to show off your bathing suit underneath.

N4. Pair the dress with gladiator sandals (again!).

N5. Do not worry much about accessories if the dress has a reach print.

N6. Opt for hair accessories, such as flower crowns.

The below dresses might be a good option to build up your personal look with a white lace dress.
