As you remember, I gave a promise in my first article on Glosty to turn back and create more fashion articles. And now I am here to introduce you myself and my style.
So, let's get started. I am Elena from a lovely city Adelaide in South Australia. Living in Australian mainland means experiencing a crazy life in a multicultural society. The environment where I live and the passion towards travelling developed a deep interest to discovering different cultures and learning new languages. In fact I live in Australia, cook Mexican food, learn Italian, admire Belgium waffles, dance Greek dances, read Russian literature, and dream of visiting Paris.
Yes, you can notice that I am more into Europe and it is more obvious in the way I dress. I'd say that my personal style is quite different from the common fashion style in Australia, because I'm very much inspired and influenced by the European fashion. I love Italian high fashion brands, such as Gucci, Fendi, Prada and Giorgio Armani. Besides, Italy is my favorite travel destination.
Today, I am going to present you two of my favorite looks. They are rather different from each other and it expresses the duality of my nature. The first look is a Friday-night outfit, suitable for going to a pub or a club after having a flat out working week. The look is quite simple combination of black and white with a bright scarf giving a different twist. You will find me using heaps of scarves in my outfits, because I find this accessory very handy to use for turning a simple look into something chic.
The second outfit is a feminine vintage-style dress with tiny floral prints combined with a lovely scarf and a brown belt. I got inspired to this look after watching the Burberry's Autumn/Winter 2014 Women Collection.
